A stunning image of the Iberian Peninsula captured by NASA’s astronaut Terry Virts, displaying the night lights of the urban areas of Portugal and Spain, as well the Moroccan Mediterranean coastline.

The astronaut posted on Twitter the photograph in celebration of Portugal’s 1-0 win of the #Euro2016 cup in Paris earlier today. The nerve-wrecking final game was played against France, with Cristiano Ronaldo football (soccer) star leaving the pitch early on the game due to injury.
