The effects of powerful hurricanes are tremendous to those unfortunate to be in its way and often the aftermath is only slightly visible from Space, even in satellite images. On the 17th October, 2014, Hurricane Gonzalo passed right over the Bermuda island, with massive damage inflicted by the powerful storm but luckily with no casualties registered
In this case NASA’s images of Earth captured from different satellites before and after the passage of the hurricane show us the swirling amount of sediment was scattered across the bays within and around the island:
